Was "father of modern taxonomy" racist?

First, its good to know what is racism and what makes someone racist, before deciding on this issue. As dictionary states “Racism is a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.”
Carl Linnaeus simply divided Homo sapiens into four varieties as "Europæus albus" (white European), "Americanus rubescens" (red American), "Asiaticus fuscus" (brown Asian) and "Africanus niger" (black African). Also he gave them some qualities such as choleric to American, melancholic to Asiatic, phlegmatic to African and sanguine to European. However, Linnaeus divided Homo saphiens into groups by stereotyping them through his ideas and beliefs without abstracting. What makes him racist is these qualities that he gave those people and show how European people better than the others . He was born in Sweden, which locates in the Europe. Also he's Uppsala University educated. His decisions while subdividing the people is simply belonging to his roots. While Americans shown as choleric people, Europeans are fair and sanguine people who are governed by laws. The decision that he provided about people is not belonging to scientific analysis or certain informations. In other words, there are no real, certain evidences or supports which may prove Linnaeus's ideas.
